Returns / Product Care and Sizes / Cancellations Return of goods.

We will only accept returns of goods that are found to be defective on delivery. You should communicate with us to arrange for inspection or return of these goods.

The company will not accept returns of any merchandise that has been custom modified according to your specifications unless the product is deemed defective on delivery.

We will not accept responsibility for incorrectly ordered sizes and can provide you with size charts prior to final ordering where required.

Product Care and Sizes

All garments we supply are produced to the highest exacting standards.

Always read the garment care label and follow the recommended washing instructions.

All fabric is liable to discolour by staining or perspiration particularly lighter shades. We will not accept any liability for garments, which discolour in this manner.

Fabric printed by a sublimation process can re-print if subjected to high temperatures. Furthermore, heated pressing or ironing should not be applied to printed logos, motifs or badges. Please do not iron your Should it be Get Geared?

We will not accept any liability for garments damaged through incorrect care.

Please note that sizes quoted are an approximate size guide only.

Cancellation

You may not cancel the order unless we agree in writing.

If the order is cancelled (for any reason) you are then to pay us for all stock (finished or unfinished) that we may then hold (or to which we are committed) for the order.

We may suspend or cancel the order, by written notice if you fail to pay us any money when due (under the order or otherwise); or you become insolvent or you fail to honor your obligations under these terms.

Privacy Policy

We respect the privacy of all persons who visit our site.

We will not sell or trade your email address or personal information to any other company and all credit card payments accepted are processed through a secure gateway supplied by the National Australia Bank. If you subscribe to our site or purchase product we may contact you from time to time with product or marketing offers and our Get Geared newsletter but you may unsubscribe at any time by using the link or notifying us at sale@getgeared.com.au

Payment Options

Credit Card: Get Geared Sports accept Visa or MasterCard. A surcharge of 3% on all transactions applies due to bank chargers. Credit Card transactions will not take place until authorization has been confirmed from the owner of the card. A clear and readable copy of the Credit Card (back) and identification of cardholder (license) needs to be submitted to Get Geared Apparel & Co.

Direct Deposit: If paying by Direct Deposit, receipts for payment notification [remittance advise] must be submitted to GET GEARED immediately after payment via email. Orders will not be processed until this has been received.

Orders will not be dispatched until funds are cleared.

Cheques: must be made out to Get Geared Apparel & Co. If a cheque bounces, a $20.00 administration fee will be invoiced on the total remainder invoice. Funds must be cleared into our bank account before any order is dispatched.

Under no circumstances will Get Geared be liable for any of the following losses or damage (whether such losses where foreseen, foreseeable, known or otherwise):

Price

  • All prices quoted Plus GST (unless otherwise stated).

  • Any quotations we supply you lapse after 30 days (unless otherwise stated).
  • We reserve the right to change our prices at any time prior to orders being placed.
  • Freight will be charged on all orders (unless otherwise stated).

Orders and Delivery

  • Orders may be placed online at sales@getgeared.com.au or Phone
  • If ordering goods on behalf of a club or other incorporated body you need to be authorized to place orders on behalf of that entity and will accept responsibility for payment for any product ordered.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that any artwork supplied by you is correct and any custom designs that we generate on your behalf are approved for use.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that any colors selected for team wear are correct.
  • It is your responsibility to provide contact details with any order and to ensure that we are kept updated with any changes to these details whilst the order is being processed.
  • We reserve the right to reject any order and will notify you of our acceptance of your order and an expected delivery date within 72 hours of an order being placed.
  • We expect to deliver all custom-made orders within four weeks from the placement of a firm order unless otherwise stated.
  • We expect to deliver all express team wear orders within two to three weeks from the placement of a firm order unless otherwise stated.
  • We will use all reasonable endeavours to notify you of any expected delays in the supply of your order and will offer you the chance at that time to cancel any order. You may not cancel if we receive your notice after the goods have been produced but where cancellation of the contract is allowed, you can have no further claim against us under that contract.
  • If you accept delivery of the goods after the estimated delivery time, it will be on the basis that you have no claim against us for delay (including indirect or consequential loss)
  • We may deliver the goods in installments. Each installment is treated as a separate contract.
  • It is your responsibility to provide a delivery address that enables delivery to be made by our authorized carrier, within normal Monday to Friday business hours and accepted by a person authorized to sign and accept delivery on your behalf.
  • We may decline to deliver if we believe that it would be unsafe, unlawful or unreasonably difficult to do so or the premises (or the access to them) are unsuitable for our vehicle.
  • Government Tax agencies may impose import duty and tax on imports into their country, and whilst we endeavour to minimize any impact from this, the customer is liable for any taxes incurred. Please contact your local customs office for details of possible import tax implications.
  • Should it not be possible to make delivery to your premises on that occasion we reserve the right to levy an additional charge reflecting our costs.
  • You must inspect the goods on delivery. If any goods are damaged or not delivered, you must write to tell us within 48 hours of delivery or the expected delivery time. You must give us (and any carrier) a fair chance to inspect the damaged goods.

SCREEN PRINTING

Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink-blocking GetGeared to receive a desired image. The attached GetGeared forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink or other printable materials which can be pressed through the mesh as a sharp-edged image onto a substrate. A fill blade or squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink through the mesh openings to wet the substrate during the squeegee stroke. Basically, it is the process of using a mesh-based stencil to apply ink onto a substrate, whether it be T-shirts, posters, stickers, vinyl, wood, or other material.

Screen printing is also a GetGeared method of print making in which a design is imposed on a screen of polyester or other fine mesh, with blank areas coated with an impermeable substance. Ink is forced into the mesh openings by the fill blade or squeegee and onto the printing surface during the squeegee stroke. As the screen rebounds away from the substrate the ink remains on the substrate. It is also known as silkscreen, serigraphy, and serigraph printing. One color is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to produce a multicolored image or design.

Sublimation

Dye sublimation is a process in which all design elements including logos, lettering, numbers, team names, sponsor logos, etc. are dyed directly into the fabric of the sports uniform. This has the advantage of being permanent, and actually becomes part of the fabric as opposed to screen printing which will eventually wear off and deteriorate. It also makes the uniform very light weight and breathable

What do I need to do

If you have a design you are happy with we can either replicate your existing design or you can provide us with your image in an .EPS/.AI/.PSD file or any other high resolution electronic format. The better quality the image the better the print result will be. If you do not have a design we can create a design for you. Give us an idea of what you have in mind and we will come up with a design to suit your needs.
